Jean Mariani and Danièle Tritsch

Both a physician and scientist, Jean Mariani is professor emeritus at Sorbonne University, where he co-directed a major neuroscience laboratory and currently heads the Institute of Longevity. He has held many positions which have influenced French research policy in neuroscience and the biology of ageing and has acquired an international reputation in these fields.
A former professor at Pierre-and-Marie-Curie University, Danièle Tritsch co-directed a major neuroscience laboratory. She has held numerous administrative functions related to research and has written several books aimed at science students.
