A professor at the Université de Bourgogne, Frank Cézilly is a biologist at the Biogéosciences laboratory1 and a senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His research in behavioral ecology and population biology has resulted in numerous scientific publications. He is the author of many books, including in particular two titles published by Buchet-Chastel:
• Le Paradoxe de l’Hippocampe (“The Paradox of the Seahorse,” in French), a natural history of monogamy,
• De Mâle en Père (“From Male to Father,” in French), an investigation of paternal instinct.
