Agathe Maupin is a researcher at the South African Institute of International Affairs and a technical expert at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI). An associate member of the Les Afriques dans le Monde laboratory (CNRS / Sciences Po Bordeaux joint unit), she defended a doctoral thesis in 2010 on water management policies in transboundary basins in southern Africa.
